Berkeley Alcohol and Substance Abuse Providers (BASAP) is a group of local community organizations and City programs. They are hosting their 5th biennial conference and EBCRP staff are among the presenters. Registration is still open and CEU's are available. In March 2010, President Obama signed into law historic health care reform legislation that will extend insurance to currently uninsured and under-insured Americans. The legislation supports previous legislation requiring that substance use disorders and mental illness benefits are on par with those for medical illnesses.
