EBCRP / JOIN US / Internships

LifeLong EBCRP provides training for license track trainees as well as alcohol and drug certificate students. Students receive group and individual clinical supervision in each of their assigned treatment teams located at either the Oakland or Hayward sites, in either a residential or day treatment setting.

Weekly didactic training is also offered on such topics as assessment and treatment of alcohol and drugs, violence de-escalation, confidentiality issues, and documentation requirements. Students provide services to adults, transitional age youth, and some families with children. Students may provide treatment through individual, and group, and/or family formats. Students are accepted year round depending on the program needs and the availability of clinical supervision. Students are on site approximately 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Some evening and weekend hours may be available.

First, second, and third year psychology, social work, and marriage and family trainees are accepted and occasionally a post-doc position is available. Alcohol and Drug Certificate students are encouraged to apply, although the number of these positions available is often limited.
