Construction Update for the New Project Pride

Renovation efforts to rehabilitate a vacant single-room occupancy hotel into a sustainable permanent home for Project Pride have continued.  Construction of the new facility, which intends to restore the property to it’s original historical facade, should be complete by Summer of 2012.

Project Pride, founded in 1993, offers pregnant and parenting women a safe place to begin repairing the damage caused by substance use and addiction. We offer a unique residential drug and alcohol treatment program, involving the family members of our clients as much as possible. In the new site, there will be designated space for extended families to reunite and share meals, community space, a garden, and an outdoor recreation area.
