Renovations Under Way for 2545 San Pablo Ave.

EBCRP has partnered with Affordable Housing Associates (AHA) to rehabilitate a vacant single-room occupancy hotel into a sustainable permanent home for Project Pride. Demolition of this blighted property began in February and will be completed by the end of May. Construction of the new facility, which intends to restore the property to it's original historical facade, will be complete by Summer of 2012. Project Pride, founded in 1993, offers pregnant and parenting women a safe place to begin repairing the damage caused by substance use and addiction. We offer a unique residential drug and alcohol treatment program, involving the family members of our clients as much as possible. In the new site, there will be designated space for extended families to reunite and share meals, community space, a garden, and an outdoor recreation area.
