Wells Fargo Staff Volunteer in Project Pride

A big thank you to the 12 staff from Wells Fargo who came out to help Project Pride raise funds for the holidays.  Many of our women are unable to provide even the most basic gifts to their children and loved ones.  This can create a lot of stress and guilt during a time of year that is already stressful.  In the past, the women have made baked goods to sell throughout the agency in order to raise money for themselves.  This year, Project Pride partnered with United Way of the Bay Area and were set up with volunteers from Wells Fargo during the annual Week of Caring event.  The volunteers brought thier own recipes and staff this year were treated to lemon cheescake, strawberry oatmeal bars and 7-up cake, as well as the old standby's of rice crispy treats and brownies.  Thank you again to the volunteers and the United Way!
