Supportive Housing Celebration Feb. 8, 2013
The East Bay Community Recovery Project is pleased to present two completed developments on the EBCRP Continuum of Care Campus: Project Pride and FACT Permanent Housing. Project Pride represents the rehabilitation of a foreclosed and vacant SRO hotel into housing for pregnant and parenting women with special needs, and their children. FACT Permanent Housing is permanent supportive housing for people with serious mental illnesses who have exited jail and are homeless.
Both projects offer extensive on-site supportive services and are near completion after six years of planning, finance acquisition and development in conjunction with our development partners Affordable Housing Associates and Bonnewit Development Services. Funders include the City of Oakland, Alameda County and the State of California. The rehabilitation of these three properties on the EBCRP Continuum of Care Campus has greatly enhance a blighted corner in the neighborhood and provide much needed housing and services to underserved populations.
Everyone is invited to come and tour the new facilities on Friday February 8th from 3:00-5:30p. Meet at 2524 San Pablo Ave. Oakland, Ca. For more information, please call 510-446-7116. Food and refreshments will be provided.
