Pregnancy & Parenting

Project Pride

Project Pride has assisted women and their children since 1993. We offer a unique residential program to address mental health, alcohol and other drug problems, involving family members as much as possible.

Our services address the different needs of the women and children. Mothers receive training and support on improving socialization, communication, leadership and life skills. The children receive supervised, supportive child care, education, play/art/music therapy, and ongoing developmental assessments. Our program helps women achieve pride in themselves and their children.

We are a tobacco free program and place real emphasis on improving the overall health of women and children. Our outdoor recreation equipment, grassy area and Children's Learning Center, offer a necessary compliment to our rigorous substance abuse and mental health treatment programs.

Admissions

We make every effort to accommodate pregnant or parenting women, or women in the process of reunification. Women do not have to have their children with them at the time of admission. Please contact our intake coordinator, Laura, at 510-446-7150.
